Dubai Chocolate In Singapore, Four Crispy Kunafa Flavours

Dubai chocolate is a thick filled bar made with a shell of chocolate over shredded kunafa pastry, toasted in butter and folded in pistachio cream. We make our kunafa chocolate here in Singapore, and we make it fresh, because the whole pleasure of it rests on the kunafa still being crisp when you bite in. That was the part we were not willing to compromise on.

Pistachio chocolate, beyond the trend

Pistachio chocolate worked long before this bar existed, and it will keep working after the trend cools. If you like the combination, our fresh chocolate range and the assorted boxes carry pistachio and other nut-forward pieces in smaller formats, which is a gentler way in before going for a full bar.

Our Dubai chocolate range in Singapore

We offer a range of kunafa chocolate bars. The Pistachio is the original and still the one people ask for, the Peanut Butter is rounder and saltier, the Speculoos carries a spiced caramel biscuit note, and the Mint Cloud Bar is the lighter choice for anyone who finds the nut-based bars too rich. Availability for each is shown on its product page, and if this is new to you, do start with the Pistachio.

What Dubai chocolate actually is

The style began with a chocolatier in the United Arab Emirates and spread through short-form video, largely because of the sound it makes when it snaps. Underneath the trend it is a genuinely good idea. Kunafa is a Middle Eastern pastry of fine shredded dough, and toasted in butter it brings a texture that chocolate cannot fully achieve on its own.

Ours is Dubai-style, produced in our own facility here in Singapore rather than imported. Making it ourselves is what lets us sell it fresh, which is the key point of this particular bar.

Produced here in Singapore

CHOCOELF has been crafting artisanal chocolate in Singapore from 2005. Our kunafa chocolate sits alongside flavours we developed here, including the Signature Kaya bar and the mahjong box, and it is made in the same facility by the same people.

If you are buying as a gift, the Dubai-style bars photograph well and need no wrapping, which is  the main reason they travel so well as presents. Orders are delivered islandwide, or you are welcome to collect at our Chinatown cafe. Our gift boxes and hampers can be built around them too.
