Chinese New Year Chocolate, Cookies & Hampers
Chinese New Year is the season our chocolate travels furthest, from one family’s table to the next. Our CNY chocolate is made here in Singapore and built for sharing, which is how the mahjong box came to be the one people reach for when visiting. You are welcome to collect from our Chinatown cafe, a short walk from most of the CNY shopping.
The Mahjong box, made for the table
Chocolate moulded as mahjong tiles and boxed as a set. We have crafted them from 2009 and are the original makers of Singapore Mahjong Chocolate. At Chinese New Year it goes straight onto the table and starts a conversation. Boxes come in 10, 15, 25 and 50 piece sizes.
Chinese New Year hampers and gift boxes
The hampers come in a range of sizes, from something for one household up to a set for an office, and alongside them sit the festive fresh pralines and the assorted pick-and-mix boxes.
Contents shift each year with the season, so each product page lists what is actually in that set. If you want to control every piece, the pick-and-mix boxes are the better route.

Made in our own facility
CHOCOELF has been crafting artisanal chocolate in Singapore from 2005, and the local flavours on this page, including the Signature Kaya bar, were created in our own facility. We are always pleased when one of them turns up at a gathering.
Frequently asked questions about CNY chocolate gifts
Not at the moment. Chocolate coins are a classic CNY gift and we know people look for them, so it is on the list of things we are considering. For now the mahjong box is the format that plays the same role at a gathering.

Yes. The CNY range includes sugar-free crispy cashew and walnut kernels and a bundle of four sugar-free cookies, and gift sets can be built around the wider no-sugar-added range. Selected products carry the Healthier Choice Symbol.
Well before the final fortnight. That period is the busiest in our year, and because festive stock is made close to the occasion rather than stockpiled, popular sets run out.
